Junior Indirect Superintendent (CSA)

About the role

The Junior Indirect Superintendent (CSA) will support the Yanacocha Water Treatment Plant project in Peru, overseeing subcontractor planning, safety, quality and technical activities on a complex, multi‑stakeholder construction site.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and organize subcontractor activities, providing coordination and instruction to their management staff.
• Support projects of moderate complexity with few stakeholders, ensuring alignment with overall schedules.
• Prepare construction drawings and sketches to communicate design intent.
• Develop construction methods, procedures, and detailed planning documents.
• Create projections and schedules for workforce, material and equipment requirements.
• Monitor installation of materials and equipment to verify conformance with drawings, specifications and vendor requirements.
• Implement and enforce field construction policies, procedures and work rules.
• Collaborate with field engineers, foremen and craft professionals to interpret engineering and vendor documents.
• Coordinate engineering solutions with subcontractors and foremen to resolve technical issues.

Required profile

• Junior‑level professional with a background in construction supervision.
• Ability to work on‑site in a remote mining environment.
• Strong organizational skills for managing multiple subcontractors and schedules.
• Good understanding of safety, quality and technical standards in large‑scale projects.
• Effective communication skills for coordinating with engineers, foremen and stakeholders.
