About the role

Kyndryl is seeking a Lead Software Engineer to design, develop, and support cutting‑edge software products and services. You will guide a high‑performing team, drive innovative solutions, and ensure quality through SRE practices.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of developers and engineers, fostering growth and high performance.
• Define project scope, schedule, resources, and risk management while delivering on agreed timelines.
• Collaborate with a Scrum Master to prioritize backlogs, create user stories, and follow Agile Scrum ceremonies.
• Own SRE responsibilities, ensuring software quality via automated testing, QA checks, and code scans.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of experience managing high‑performing software teams using hybrid methodologies.
• Strong business acumen with the ability to understand customer needs and align development with business objectives.
• Excellent communication skills for interaction with team members and stakeholders.

Required skills

• Deep understanding of software development methodologies, practices, programming languages, frameworks, and tools.
• Proficiency in Agile Scrum processes and SRE principles.
• Leadership and project management capabilities, including scope definition and risk management.
