Legal Business Partner

About the role

We are seeking a Legal Business Partner to provide comprehensive legal support across the LATAM region. You will work closely with business units, marketing, government relations, tax, and data privacy teams to ensure compliance and mitigate legal risks while supporting our growth as a leading mobility platform.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver daily legal advice to internal stakeholders on advertising, consumer protection, labor, and administrative matters.
• Conduct legal research on LATAM regulations, monitor legislative updates, and draft concise legal memoranda.
• Review and approve marketing materials and promotional campaigns for compliance.
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts for key partnerships and commercial agreements.
• Manage user claims and represent the company in administrative procedures before authorities such as INDECOPI.
• Prepare compliance checklists and support implementation of required legal adjustments.
• Act as project manager for cross‑functional legal initiatives, ensuring alignment across teams.

Required profile

• Fluent English with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• At least 4 years of experience in a law firm advising IT, ride‑hailing, delivery, or digital platform clients, or 5 years as an in‑house lawyer for a tech or startup company.
• Solid background in civil law, media/advertising regulation, consumer protection, labor law, and commercial contracts.
• Experience handling pre‑litigation claims and administrative procedures.
