Lifecycle Specialist: Time & Attendance

About the role

The Time & Attendance Specialist will ensure accurate and efficient management of time‑and‑attendance activities for Remote's external employees and clients. This individual contributor role focuses on legal compliance, high‑quality employee experience, and continuous process improvement within a fully remote, asynchronous environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and audit time‑and‑attendance records for external employees and client teams.
• Ensure all processes comply with employment laws across multiple jurisdictions.
• Maintain thorough documentation and data integrity for all lifecycle events.
• Identify, design, and implement automation opportunities to streamline workflows.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams using asynchronous tools to resolve issues and improve the employee experience.

Required profile

• Proven experience handling employee lifecycle events with a strong focus on legal compliance.
• Excellent communication, influencing, conflict‑management and negotiation abilities.
• Advanced business‑level proficiency in written and spoken English; additional languages are a plus.
• Strong aptitude for process optimisation and documentation.
• Tech‑savvy, able to work independently and as part of an international remote team.
• Willingness to work flexible hours as needed.
