Medical Support Coordinator – U.S. Healthcare

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Medical Support Coordinator to join our San Isidro hub and work directly with U.S. healthcare providers. You will navigate insurance portals, manage prior authorizations, and ensure accurate documentation of clinical interactions from day one.

Key responsibilities

• Verify patient insurance eligibility and submit prior authorizations using U.S. insurance portals.
• Coordinate outreach to clinics and providers to collect essential healthcare data.
• Enter and maintain patient information in EMR/EHR systems (e.g., Athena, Elation) and related CRMs.
• Serve as a HIPAA‑compliant point of contact for patients, providers, and insurers.
• Monitor task queues, meet quality benchmarks, and flag process gaps proactively.

Required profile

• Minimum 2.5 years of verifiable experience in a BPO or virtual‑assistant role supporting U.S. healthcare clients.
• English proficiency at C1 level, both written and spoken.
• Stable work history with no more than three employers in the last three years.
• Ability to work onsite in San Isidro during U.S. business hours (EST/PST) with minimal supervision.

Required skills

• Experience using U.S. insurance portals.
• Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems such as Athena or Elation.
• Familiarity with healthcare CRM platforms.
