Operations Assistant

About the role

As an Operations Assistant with Intrepid, you will support the delivery of unforgettable travel experiences in Peru. Working from our Cusco office, you will provide essential administrative and logistical coordination across multiple tour brands and partners, ensuring schedules, documentation, and systems are accurate and up‑to‑date.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in pre‑trip planning, including itinerary preparation, supplier coordination, and documentation management.
• Support live operations by monitoring ongoing trips, resolving issues, and communicating updates to internal teams and partners.
• Maintain operational schedules, data tracking sheets, and reporting dashboards.
• Collaborate closely with leaders, suppliers, and cross‑functional teams to ensure smooth departures and arrivals.
• Handle ad‑hoc tasks that arise during fast‑paced travel periods, ensuring timely resolution.

Required profile

• Experience in administrative, operational, or coordination roles.
• Intermediate to advanced English proficiency, both written and verbal.
• Strong organizational and time‑management abilities with high attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic, fast‑moving environment.
• Willingness to work flexible hours and adapt to on‑the‑go demands.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel for data management, tracking, and reporting.
