Operations Manager / Online Business Manager

About the role

You will work directly with the founder of a fast‑growing, founder‑led business, taking ownership of daily operations and turning chaotic processes into efficient, automated systems. The role blends strong operational judgment with AI‑driven automation to free up the founder’s time for strategic growth.

Key responsibilities

• Own day‑to‑day operations and drive initiatives from concept to completion.
• Deeply understand the founder’s business, tools, standards, and decision‑making processes.
• Identify broken, manual, or repetitive workflows and redesign them permanently.
• Build SOPs, systems, AI workflows, and automations that reduce manual effort.
• Coordinate projects, people, vendors, timelines, and key deliverables.
• Track operational performance metrics and use data to prioritize improvements.
• Make independent decisions and escalate only when necessary.
• Keep the founder informed proactively without being prompted.
• Continuously seek opportunities to save time and cut costs.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an Operations Manager, Online Business Manager, founder’s right‑hand, or a comparable high‑ownership operations role.
• Background in fast‑moving, founder‑led companies where structure is not pre‑defined.
• Strong operational judgment with the ability to turn ambiguous problems into actionable plans.
• Track record of improving processes rather than merely maintaining them.
• High ownership, follow‑through, and the ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Curiosity about AI and a willingness to learn and experiment with automation tools.
