Personal Injury Legal Assistant

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Personal Injury Legal Assistant to be the first point of contact for prospective clients. In this role you will provide empathetic, professional support during the critical intake phase and ensure a smooth transition to our attorneys.

Key responsibilities

• Answer inbound inquiries via phone, email, and chat and act as the primary contact for prospective clients.
• Conduct structured intake interviews, gather relevant case information, and document everything accurately in the case management system.
• Screen and qualify new matters using firm‑approved criteria, flagging urgent issues for escalation.
• Schedule consultations, coordinate warm handoffs to attorneys, and maintain clear communication throughout the process.
• Maintain detailed records of all communications and follow‑up actions.

Required profile

• 1–2 years of experience in a U.S. personal injury law firm or similar legal environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to handle sensitive conversations empathetically.
• High attention to detail, excellent organizational abilities, and comfort working in a fast‑paced, high‑volume setting.
• Bilingual Spanish/English preferred.
