PMO Manager (Jefe de la PMO)

About the role

AECOM, a global infrastructure consulting firm, is looking for a PMO manager (Jefe de la PMO) to work in Lima, Peru. The position covers program management and supports activities related to programs, including smaller programs or specific components of larger ones under the supervision of the Program Manager.

Required profile

• University degree in Engineering, Economics, Administration, Medicine or a related field, with more than five years of experience or proven equivalent education and experience.
• Current professional license and registration.
• Master's degree or MBA in Project Management, Infrastructure Management, Health Management or a related discipline.
• Project management certifications such as PMP, PMI-PMOCP, PRINCE2 or equivalents.
• Experience in contractual management, monitoring and follow-up, project governance, risk management, milestone and contractual obligation tracking, coordination between public entities, operators and supervisors, and implementation of control and reporting mechanisms.
• Preferred: at least ten years of general professional experience, five years in PMO, project or infrastructure contracts management, and recent experience in two or more public infrastructure or health and education service projects in roles such as Project Director, PMO Manager or Project Manager.
• Intermediate-to-advanced English or bilingualism is preferred but not required.
