Portuguese Teacher (Full‑time, Arequipa)

About the role

SBARLEK is seeking a dedicated Portuguese Teacher to join its campus in Arequipa. This full‑time, on‑site position involves designing and delivering engaging Portuguese lessons for learners of varying proficiency levels.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver Portuguese language lessons using diverse teaching methods and materials.
• Assess learner progress, provide constructive feedback, and adapt lesson plans to individual and group needs.
• Maintain accurate records of attendance, performance, and instructional resources.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum and overall learning experience.
• Support learners with questions, foster a positive classroom environment, and participate in school meetings, trainings, and events.

Required profile

• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with active listening abilities.
• Background in education, including experience designing lesson plans and learning activities.
• Demonstrated teaching experience, preferably in language or classroom settings.
• Customer‑service orientation to assist learners and families effectively.
• Fluency in Portuguese; proficiency in Spanish and/or English is an advantage.
• Relevant degree or certification in Education, Languages, or a related field preferred.
