Probate Legal Assistant

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Probate Legal Assistant to support our attorneys throughout all phases of probate and estate administration. The successful candidate will manage case files, prepare legal documents, and coordinate with courts, clients and third parties.

Key responsibilities

• Assist attorneys with every stage of probate and estate administration.
• Prepare, draft and file probate documents such as petitions, letters testamentary, inventories, notices, distributions and closing statements.
• Maintain case files, track deadlines and ensure compliance with court requirements.
• Communicate with clients, beneficiaries, courts and financial institutions.
• Coordinate asset collection and valuation, including bank accounts, real estate and investments.
• Support attorneys with estate accountings, reports and electronic filings.
• Handle legal correspondence and notices accurately and professionally.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years experience as a Legal Assistant in probate or estate administration.
• Strong knowledge of probate procedures, terminology and documentation.
• Proficiency in preparing and filing legal documents in probate courts.
• Excellent organizational, time‑management and multitasking abilities.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills in English (C1 level).
