Quality Assurance Analyst – English/Spanish Interpreter

About the role

The Interpreting Quality Assurance Analyst will serve as the frontline quality engine for interpreter performance across on‑demand video (OPI) and video remote interpreting (VRI) channels. Working remotely in the PST time zone, you will evaluate interpreter work, provide structured coaching, and ensure compliance with HIPAA and professional ethics.

Key responsibilities

• Score interpreter performance using AI QA tools, silent monitoring, and test calls against universal rubrics.
• Maintain a weekly output of 100–110 evaluations and ensure the full portfolio is completed each month.
• Document detailed, audit‑ready notes for every evaluation within the QA platform.
• Deliver rubric‑referenced written feedback to interpreters and supervisors.
• Participate in weekly calibration sessions to keep scoring consistent.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or equivalent (Associate’s degree or higher preferred).
• Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish.
• 2+ years in interpretation quality assurance or 4+ years as a VRI/OPI interpreter.
• Strong knowledge of HIPAA, interpreter ethics, and national standards.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
