Recruiter - Management

About the role

Talent Acquisition at Marriott identifies, attracts and hires top talent, and the Recruiting Manager is a key member of the Talent Acquisition team. The role manages assigned property and above-property management requisitions, with a focus on complex, priority or hard-to-fill searches, while supporting talent programs and continuous improvement across the centralized recruiting model.

Key responsibilities

• Own assigned management requisitions end-to-end and act as a strategic partner to HR and hiring managers, giving intake guidance, talent mapping, compensation advice, market insights, recruiting metrics and funnel-improvement strategies
• Partner with the sourcing team to build a pipeline of top talent through research, social media, cold calls, referrals, events and sourcing campaigns
• Work with hiring managers before posting to identify known candidates, encourage referrals and align on interview strategy
• Screen candidates by reviewing resumes and conducting phone screens, then schedule and coordinate interviews
• Facilitate offer letters with HR partners and build strong relationships with hiring managers, HR partners and candidates
• Promote Marriott as an employer of choice and support regional Employer Branding, Young Talent and Voyage initiatives

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree, or related degree or equivalent work experience
• 4+ years of work experience
• Preferred: experience in an agency recruiting environment
• Strong negotiation skills, knowledge of the hiring market and data-driven approach to improving hiring strategy

Required skills

• Proficiency in the mechanics of applicant tracking systems and computer literacy with databases
• Excellent written and verbal communication, able to explain to executives and to individuals
• Problem-solving, analytical and organizational skills, with the ability to make timely decisions
• Stays current with Talent Acquisition trends and best practices
