About the role

The Pharmacy Regente ensures the technical operation of the pharmacy, complying with governmental regulations and providing professional pharmaceutical advice to patients. The position works three days a week, focusing on safe dispensing, patient counseling, and maintaining pharmacy standards.

Key responsibilities

• Answer specific client inquiries and provide specialized pharmaceutical counseling according to the Service Protocol.
• Dispense prescriptions, ensuring adherence to established protocols and regulatory requirements.
• Supervise and train sales‑floor staff on medication categories, dosage forms, laboratories, and common ailments.
• Administer injectable medications (intramuscular and subcutaneous) when required.
• Monitor expiration dates of all products and conduct controlled‑substance (psychotropics, narcotics) reviews.
• Measure and record patients' blood pressure when requested or clinically indicated.
• Manage inventory, place orders, and securely handle controlled substances, psychotropics, vaccines, and cold‑chain items.
• Ensure compliance with Ministry of Health and Pharmacy Board regulations, including waste management and cold‑chain standards.

Required profile

• Licensed pharmacist with a thorough knowledge of pharmacy regulations and controlled‑substance handling.
• Ability to train and mentor pharmacy staff.
• Strong attention to detail for inventory control and expiration monitoring.
• Excellent communication skills for patient counseling.
