Remote English Teacher (Lima)

About the role

We Learn is seeking a remote English Second Language Teacher to join its team. The position is based in Lima and involves delivering engaging English lessons to learners of various ages and proficiency levels using the company’s methodology and curriculum.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and prepare lesson plans and teaching materials tailored to different age groups and proficiency levels.
• Conduct group and one‑to‑one online classes during the scheduled hours.
• Assess learner progress, provide constructive feedback, and maintain accurate attendance and performance records.
• Contribute to progress reports and participate in teacher meetings and training sessions.
• Collaborate with colleagues to continuously improve course quality and the learner experience.

Required profile

• Strong instructional skills in teaching English as a foreign language.
• Experience preparing learners for IELTS, Cambridge or similar proficiency exams.
• Excellent spoken and written English (C1 level or higher).
• Relevant teaching certification (TEFL, TESOL, CELTA) or a degree in Education, Communications or a related field.
• Stable, consistent weekly availability with no random gaps.

Required skills

• Proficiency in lesson planning and adapting materials for diverse learners.
• Comfort using digital teaching tools and online platforms.
