Retail Assistant Store Manager

About the role

PUMA is seeking a Retail Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in driving sales performance and delivering an exceptional customer experience in a dynamic retail environment.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Store Manager to review daily product distribution, sales actions, and key performance indicators to achieve budgeted targets.
• Analyze customer profiles, purchase trends, and competitor information to shape business strategy.
• Coordinate training programs with the Store Manager and Operations team to foster a strong service culture.
• Assist in recruiting, onboarding, developing, and succession planning for store staff.
• Ensure compliance with store processes and policies, including opening/closing procedures, sales management, inventory control, and back‑office operations.

Required profile

• 2–4 years of experience in a similar retail management or assistant manager role.
• Proven ability to work with business KPIs and lead a team effectively.
• Familiarity with PUMA’s sales systems and retail processes.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
