Sales Manager Peru

About the role

ArcelorMittal International is seeking a Sales Manager for the Peruvian market. You will lead import sales, develop new market opportunities, and strengthen relationships with customers, trading partners and internal teams to drive sustainable commercial growth.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement the import sales strategy and annual plan in coordination with regional and country managers.
• Identify and develop new market opportunities for ArcelorMittal products and trading lines in Peru.
• Prospect and nurture relationships with end‑users, service centres, mill depots and steel buyers.
• Prepare commercial offers, quote customers and support order entry through SAP and back‑office platforms.
• Coordinate with LATAM domestic mill sales teams to ensure a consistent commercial approach.
• Work closely with Logistics to align pricing and maintain margin discipline.
• Collaborate with technical resources on specifications, protocols and quality claims.
• Consolidate forecasts, monitor market trends and provide timely reports.
• Build strong commercial relationships to ensure long‑term customer satisfaction.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of sales and marketing experience in a medium to large company.
• Proven experience in imports/exports, steel industry and trading business is highly desired.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent in Spanish and English.
