Senior Accountant – Hospitality Industry

About the role

Howard Financial is seeking a proactive Senior Accountant to lead financial reporting for its hospitality clients. The role supports multiple properties, ensuring accurate month‑end closes, balance‑sheet integrity, and compliance with US GAAP.

Key responsibilities

• Drive month‑end and year‑end close processes, preparing P&L and balance sheet statements on schedule.
• Streamline balance‑sheet reconciliations as client volume grows.
• Manage journal entries, financial reporting, and reconciliations across multiple hospitality properties.
• Integrate and operate hospitality and accounting platforms to process daily financial data.
• Identify and implement workflow improvements, strengthening internal controls and client service.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in hospitality, property accounting, or outsourced accounting services.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and full‑cycle accounting.
• Self‑starter with high accountability, able to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.
