Senior Accounting Analyst – Renewable Energy

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Accounting Analyst to join our renewable‑energy team in Lima. The professional will be responsible for the accurate preparation and presentation of the company’s financial statements throughout both operational and pre‑operational phases, ensuring full compliance with IFRS and Peruvian tax regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and validate accounting records prepared by the outsourced accounting team.
• Prepare and submit monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for both local and corporate reporting.
• Analyze key accounts such as energy sales revenue, operating costs, depreciation, provisions, and tax obligations.
• Ensure consistency between trial balances, management reports, and regulatory filings.
• Execute month‑end and year‑end closing processes and provide variance analysis for management.
• Support internal, external, and regulatory audits (OSINERGMIN, SUNAT, COES, etc.).
• Coordinate tax filings including VAT, income tax, withholdings, perceptions, and deductions.
• Manage fixed‑asset registers, depreciation schedules, and capitalization of investments.
• Work with Treasury to reconcile bank accounts, schedule payments, and monitor cash‑flow requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Intermediate or advanced English proficiency.
• At least 5 years of experience as an Accounting Analyst, preferably in energy, infrastructure, or utilities.
• Experience with accounting for infrastructure or energy projects (EPC, BOT, or PPA contracts).

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of IFRS.
• Familiarity with SUNAT tax regulations.
• Financial statement preparation and month‑end closing.
• Tax filing (VAT, income tax, withholdings, perceptions).
• Fixed‑asset management and depreciation scheduling.
