Senior Accounting Analyst – Renewable Energy

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Accounting Analyst to join our multicultural team in Lima, Peru. You will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and compliance of our financial statements throughout the operational and pre‑operational phases of renewable energy projects.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and validate accounting records prepared by the outsourced accounting team.
• Prepare and submit monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in line with IFRS and local tax regulations (SUNAT).
• Analyze core accounting accounts, focusing on energy sales revenue, operating costs, depreciation, provisions and tax obligations.
• Execute month‑end and year‑end closing processes, ensuring consistency across reports and regulatory filings.
• Provide technical support for internal, external and regulatory audits (OSINERGMIN, SUNAT, COES, etc.).
• Coordinate tax filings (VAT, Income Tax, withholdings) and manage fixed‑asset records and depreciation schedules.
• Work with Treasury to reconcile bank accounts, manage payment schedules and monitor cash‑flow requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as an Accounting Analyst, preferably in energy, infrastructure or utilities.
• Experience with EPC, BOT or PPA contracts is a plus.
• Intermediate or advanced English proficiency.
