BairesDev® is seeking a Senior Backend Developer to design and build sophisticated backend services using Node.js. The role is fully remote and involves leading technical initiatives, mentoring junior developers, and delivering high‑performance, scalable solutions for complex business challenges.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement advanced, scalable backend architectures with Node.js and related technologies.
• Lead technical design and architectural decisions for backend solutions.
• Mentor junior developers and promote best practices within the backend team.
• Develop high‑performance Node.js applications with optimized data handling.
• Implement microservices architectures and cloud‑native solutions.
• Conduct comprehensive code reviews to ensure high‑quality code.

Required profile

• 4+ years of experience in Node.js backend development.
• Strong expertise in the Node.js ecosystem and advanced backend architecture.
• Proficiency in TypeScript, Express.js, and modern Node.js frameworks.
• Experience with microservices, distributed systems, and cloud platforms.
• Advanced knowledge of database design and optimization techniques.
• Advanced level of English.
