Senior Business Development Manager

About the role

CSG is partnering with a leading mining technology organisation to find a senior commercial leader who will drive growth across international markets. This high‑impact position combines strategic business development, full P&L accountability, and operational leadership to deliver sustainable revenue and margin expansion.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute regional growth strategy, aligning with global commercial objectives.
• Own full P&L performance, including revenue, margin and EBITDA targets.
• Build and nurture C‑level relationships with mining operators, exploration companies, drilling contractors and technology partners.
• Lead complex negotiations, tenders and high‑value commercial agreements.
• Recruit, develop and lead high‑performing commercial and technical teams.
• Manage pipeline, forecasting and CRM discipline (HubSpot preferred).
• Identify new market entry opportunities and establish scalable commercial processes.

Required profile

• 10+ years in senior commercial, country or business‑unit leadership roles.
• Strong background in mining, geological exploration, drilling services or mining technology.
• Proven track record of delivering sustained revenue growth and profitability.
• Extensive C‑level stakeholder management and executive influence.
• Experience leading long‑cycle, high‑value deals and managing P&L.
• Degree in Mining, Geological, Industrial Engineering or Business (MBA preferred).
