Senior Foreign Trade Analyst – Mining Consumables Logistics

About the role

Metso is looking for a Senior Foreign Trade Analyst to join the Consumables Logistics SAM team in Peru. You will coordinate and oversee complex logistics activities for mining consumables such as screening media, wear liners, pumps, and mill lining components, ensuring smooth export and import processes.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate release and shipment of goods after production, fabrication, or picking, guaranteeing accurate and timely dispatch for export.
• Manage complex inbound (imports) and outbound (exports) shipments, including heavy, oversized, multi‑component, or multi‑stop deliveries.
• Prepare, review, and validate shipping documentation, especially for materials requiring special handling or regulatory compliance.
• Track and monitor deliveries to warehouses, customer facilities, mine sites, and remote locations, overseeing both company‑arranged carriers and customer‑arranged logistics partners.
• Act as an escalation point for logistics queries from sales, production, and external partners.

Required profile

• Proven experience in foreign trade, import/export, and logistics coordination within a manufacturing or mining environment.
• Strong understanding of customs regulations, hazardous material handling, and documentation requirements.
• Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams (production, warehousing, transportation) and external partners (carriers, vendors).
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills, with attention to detail.
