Senior Investment Officer – Private Debt (Analytics)

About the role

BlueOrchard, a leading global impact investment manager, is expanding its Private Debt team in Lima, Peru. As a Senior Investment Officer – Analytics you will lead on‑site due diligence and prepare investment proposals for debt opportunities, primarily with financial institutions across Latin America.

Key responsibilities

• Propose and present investment opportunities to the Credit Committee, aligning with the fund’s risk appetite and social return objectives.
• Conduct desk reviews and on‑site financial, social impact, and ESG assessments of existing and potential investees.
• Plan, prepare, and execute due‑diligence visits, performing country and credit‑risk analysis.
• Mentor local investment officers and contribute to the development of investment and credit‑analysis processes and tools.
