About the role
Join Kyndryl’s global team to design, build and maintain high‑volume business logic on mainframe systems while driving modernization toward cloud and mobile integration.
Key responsibilities
- Monitor and optimise mainframe performance, preventing decay and identifying efficiency opportunities.
- Debug, troubleshoot and analyse complex system interactions to keep mission‑critical applications running.
- Extract and refactor legacy business logic for migration or integration with cloud‑based services.
Required profile
- Proven experience as a software engineer on complex projects.
- Strong coding and problem‑solving skills with Java and related frameworks.
- Experience with relational and NoSQL databases, data mapping, XML/JSON and REST APIs.
Required skills
- Java, Spring Boot, Quarkus, GraphQL, Kafka, Spring Batch, Apache Flink
- Microservices architecture, Docker, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), messaging queues
- OOP, design patterns, Azure components, DevOps tools
