Senior Manager Business Planning & Strategy

About the role

Scotiabank Perú is looking for a Senior Manager to lead Business Planning and Strategy for its Corporate Banking, Investment Banking and Capital Markets businesses. The role ensures the planning cycle, performance management and financial insight processes are aligned with regional and global priorities.

Key responsibilities

• Support the development of annual and multi‑year business plans for Peru, coordinating local inputs and ensuring forecast accuracy.
• Contribute to capital allocation analysis, scenario modelling and revenue‑share framework assessments at the country level.
• Represent the Director of IB C&IB Business Planning in strategic financial planning and performance discussions.
• Manage the local calendar of business reviews, planning checkpoints and performance updates, ensuring compliance with governance standards.
• Provide timely performance insights, monitor key financial metrics and support data‑informed decision‑making across the business.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in financial services, preferably in business planning, performance management or financial analysis.
• Strong understanding of corporate and investment banking operations and related corporate functions.
• Ability to work independently and within a regional matrix structure, coordinating with head‑office and local teams.
• Excellent customer orientation and proven track record supporting internal clients.
• Fluency in English and Spanish.
