Senior Manager, Contract Manufacturing (Latin America)

About the role

The Senior Manager, Contract Manufacturing will lead Staples’ private‑brand supplier sourcing across Latin and South America, focusing on Peru. You will be responsible for quickly identifying, vetting, and onboarding new contract manufacturers for office supplies, furniture, technology accessories, and break‑room products.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the regional expert for contract manufacturing of finished goods in the office‑products portfolio.
• Build a scalable process to source, evaluate, and onboard new manufacturers efficiently.
• Manage the full vetting cycle, including RFQs, RFPs, evaluations, and contract onboarding.
• Collect and analyze data to drive cost‑optimization and high‑ROI initiatives.
• Monitor supplier performance, service levels, and quality improvements.
• Conduct market intelligence and benchmarking to spot emerging manufacturers and trends.
• Collaborate with global teams to resolve issues and ensure compliance with ethical and regulatory standards.
• Prepare regular reports on onboarding speed, cost savings, and supplier performance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience sourcing contract manufacturers for CPG finished goods, preferably in Peru or broader Latin America.
• Proven track record of onboarding new manufacturers and delivering cost‑optimization.
• Strong analytical abilities and ability to travel up to 40% within the region.
• Fluent English.
