Senior Manager, Product Sourcing & Vendor Management

About the role

Staples is seeking a Senior Manager to lead product sourcing and vendor management for its Own Brand portfolio across Latin and South America. Based in Peru, you will act as the regional expert for office supplies, furniture, technology accessories, and breakroom products, ensuring fast, high‑quality, and cost‑effective supplier onboarding.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, vet, and onboard new suppliers quickly while maintaining compliance with Staples’ policies.
• Manage the full sourcing cycle, including RFQs, RFPs, supplier evaluation, and vendor onboarding.
• Collect and analyze data to evaluate RFQs, uncover cost‑saving opportunities, and drive high‑ROI activities.
• Monitor supplier performance, service levels, and drive continuous efficiency and quality improvements.
• Conduct market intelligence and benchmarking to spot emerging suppliers and trends.
• Collaborate with global teams to manage vendor relationships and resolve issues.
• Prepare regular reports on supplier performance, onboarding speed, and cost‑saving initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in sourcing, procurement, or vendor management, preferably in consumer goods.
• Proven track record of supplier onboarding and vendor management in Peru or broader Latin/South America.
• Strong analytical and cost‑optimization skills.
• Fluent in English.
• Willingness to travel up to 40% within the region.
