Senior Manufacturing Engineer

About the role

The Senior Manufacturing Engineer will lead engineering initiatives that improve product design, processes, tooling, and equipment. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams to ensure efficient production, meet quality standards, and support new product introductions.

Key responsibilities

• Initiate and complete technical projects to develop new or improved manufacturing processes and design for manufacturability.
• Analyze complex problems using engineering principles and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with Quality and Development teams to integrate new products or processes into production.
• Lead NPI and product transfer projects, overseeing equipment installation, modification, and preventive maintenance.
• Monitor equipment performance, resolve non‑conformances, and participate in Material Review Board meetings.
• Create and approve device routers, bills of materials, and manufacturing procedures.
• Design and coordinate process fixturing and gauging solutions.
• Mentor junior manufacturing engineers and technicians.
• Support customer visits and act as a key technical contact.
• Maintain compliance with ISO, medical device regulations, and the company’s quality system.

Required profile

• Proven experience in manufacturing engineering, preferably in a regulated environment.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross‑functional projects and mentor junior staff.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
