Senior Network Administrator

About the role

Playtech Lima, part of Playtech (the world's largest online gaming software supplier), is looking for a skilled and proactive Senior Network Administrator. You will manage a 24/7 production network infrastructure that supports live product studios with hundreds of HD cameras, in a dynamic international environment.

Key responsibilities

• Own the administration, stability and continuous improvement of a 24/7 production network, ensuring high availability, performance and resilience.
• Design, implement and evolve network solutions aligned with business, hardware and software needs, with attention to scalability and fault tolerance.
• Act as a senior escalation point for complex incidents, leading deep troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
• Install, configure, optimize and support enterprise network hardware such as switches, routers and firewalls (Cisco, Checkpoint).
• Take part in infrastructure projects, system upgrades and network changes, assessing change impact and supporting change management.
• Maintain up-to-date documentation of network architecture, configurations, standards and procedures.
• Contribute to patch management, backup and recovery validation and disaster recovery preparedness.
• Provide on-call and remote support outside office hours on a scheduled rotation, responding to critical incidents in a 24/7 environment.

Required profile

• At least 4 years of hands-on experience supporting enterprise networks in a 24/7 production environment, with exposure to complex, business-critical systems.
• Strong professional English, written and verbal, and ability to communicate technical topics clearly to technical and non-technical teams.
• Preferred: hands-on experience with Cisco and Check Point equipment, and certifications such as CCNA or CCSA.

Required skills

• Strong TCP/IP networking, LAN and WAN architectures, and Layer 2/3 switching and routing.
• IP addressing and subnetting, OSPF, iBGP and eBGP.
• Network monitoring, configuration management and operational tools.
• Firewall architectures and IPsec VPNs.
• Data center networks, including Cisco Nexus, FEX and VSS in high-availability setups.
