Senior QA Engineer (Remote)

About the role

Coforge is looking for an experienced Senior QA Engineer to join its remote team in Peru. You will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of software products through both manual and automated testing, collaborating closely with development and DevOps teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks using Playwright with TypeScript/JavaScript.
• Execute manual and automated functional, regression, and API tests.
• Perform API testing with Postman collections, environments, and assertions.
• Validate data integrity and perform database verification using SQL queries.
• Integrate testing activities throughout the SDLC and STLC, supporting CI/CD pipelines.
• Contribute to performance and security testing initiatives as needed.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams in an Agile environment to drive continuous quality improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance, covering both manual and automation testing.
• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with experience working in Agile squads.
