Senior React Native Engineer – Consumer Mobile

About the role

We are seeking a Senior React Native Engineer who thinks like a product builder. You will collaborate with product, design and engineering to turn ambiguous client problems into intuitive, high‑trust mobile experiences for Kraken’s consumer app.

Key responsibilities

• Own features end‑to‑end, from discovery through launch, measurement and iteration.
• Build high‑quality, responsive React Native experiences where reliability and trust are paramount.
• Partner closely with Product and Design, contributing engineering perspectives early in the development process.
• Work with APIs and real‑time data, making decisions around state management, rendering performance and architecture.
• Operate with product‑engineer ownership, wearing multiple hats across technical and product challenges.
• Raise the product‑engineering bar through technical discussions, code reviews and mentorship.

Required profile

• Strong React Native experience with shipped production applications.
• Product‑building mindset and ability to shape solutions from ambiguous problems.
• Evidence of measurable product impact using metrics, experimentation and client feedback.
• End‑to‑end ownership of feature lifecycles.
• Comfort working with data‑rich, real‑time applications.
• Close collaboration skills with product managers and designers.
• Versatility and proficiency with AI coding tools (e.g., Copilot, Claude).
