Senior Solution Architect – Financial Services

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Solution Architect with deep expertise in financial services to shape and deliver complex business solutions. You will work closely with customers, partners, and internal teams to define architecture, drive technical governance, and ensure successful implementation of proof‑of‑concepts and pilots.

Key responsibilities

• Gather insights from a wide range of stakeholders to define project scope and requirements.
• Design, document, and communicate solution architecture that aligns with business value and project approach.
• Collaborate with Project Managers to govern design, build, and deployment phases.
• Lead the creation of costed, advanced solution approaches with traceability of requirements, constraints, and trade‑offs.
• Oversee quality practices, standards, and release schedules to transition solutions to live operations.
• Identify, categorize, and communicate business and technical risks, using change requests when needed.
• Generate new intellectual property and improve existing assets.
• Develop senior‑level relationships to influence decisions and address blockers.
• Advocate adoption of Microsoft solution technologies based on competitor analysis and customer value.

Required profile

• Proven senior‑level experience as a Solution Architect, preferably in the financial services sector.
• Strong ability to engage with senior decision‑makers and influence outcomes.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills to translate complex concepts into clear business value.
• Experience driving pre‑sales and delivery governance across large, complex projects.
