Software Engineer (dbt) – Remote

About the role

We are looking for a Software Engineer specialized in dbt to join our remote team. In this role you will apply software‑engineering rigor to SQL transformations, ensuring data pipelines are maintainable, scalable and reliable.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop modular dbt models that turn raw data into analytics‑ready tables and views.
• Implement version control and automated testing for all SQL‑based transformations.
• Collaborate with data stakeholders to define, document and validate data models and business logic.
• Optimize dbt projects for performance and cost‑efficiency within cloud data warehouses.
• Maintain high test coverage and clear documentation to preserve data platform integrity.

Required profile

• 4+ years of experience in analytics engineering, data engineering or software engineering.
• Proven expertise in building and testing dbt models, including documentation.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and data modeling within modern data warehouses.
• Experience applying software‑engineering best practices to data transformation workflows.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
