Technical Lead – Full Stack Java Engineer

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Technical Lead – Full Stack Java Engineer to join our Credit Risk team. In this position you will own critical business applications, guiding their design, development, support and continuous improvement while ensuring security, resilience and high availability.

Key responsibilities

• Act as technical owner for Credit Risk applications, providing Level 3 production support and resolving complex incidents within SLA.
• Design, develop, test and deploy new features, regulatory changes and bug fixes, following change‑management and release processes.
• Maintain and enhance existing solutions, reduce technical debt and ensure applications remain stable and secure.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, operations and business stakeholders to minimise service disruption.
• Mentor and guide development teams, promote best‑practice coding standards and drive technical excellence.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading full‑stack Java projects in a financial or credit‑risk environment.
• Strong problem‑solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot production issues.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities to work with cross‑functional teams.
