About the role

Join Kyndryl as a Technical Lead to design, build and maintain high‑volume business logic on mainframe systems while driving modernization toward cloud and mobile integration.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain performance by monitoring architecture and optimizing code to keep mainframe operations efficient.
• Debug, troubleshoot and test complex system interactions to ensure mission‑critical applications remain stable.
• Bridge legacy and future by extracting business logic for migration or integration with cloud‑based services.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a software engineer on complex projects.
• Strong coding and debugging skills, especially in Java.
• Experience with software development methodologies and building scalable, robust applications.
• Hands‑on work with relational and NoSQL databases, data mapping, XML/JSON and RESTful services.
• Knowledge of architecture design, including microservices, containers and messaging queues.
• Deep understanding of OOP principles and design patterns.
