Technical Project Manager

About the role

As a Technical Project Manager at Capgemini Engineering you will lead the technical planning, coordination and delivery of complex telecommunications projects, covering design, integration, validation and acceptance phases. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams and act as the key technical reference throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and drive project execution from initiation to acceptance.
• Plan project activities, define deliverables, timelines, milestones and dependencies.
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams to ensure alignment and successful delivery.
• Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Monitor progress and report achievements, challenges and next steps to stakeholders.
• Manage customer‑facing activities and maintain strong relationships.
• Review and validate technical documentation such as HLD, LLD, test strategies and MOPs.
• Coordinate testing, validation, acceptance and integration activities.

Required profile

• Proven experience in technical project management within telecom software solutions, system development or integration.
• Strong understanding of application integration projects in complex, multi‑domain ecosystems.
• Solid knowledge of Unix/Linux operating systems and databases (Aerospike, MariaDB, Oracle, SQL).
• Good understanding of IP networking and telecom protocols (Diameter, HTTP2, SIP, SOAP/XML, SNMP).
• Experience with cloud and virtualised environments (VNF, CNF, VMware, OpenStack, CBIS, CBAM, NCS, NCOM).
• Familiarity with core telecom network elements (HSS/HLR, AUSF/UDM, EIR, SDL, One‑MNP, One‑NDS).
• Knowledge of mobile network integration, VoLTE, IMS and payment systems is highly valued.
• Fluent English communication skills, both written and spoken.
