Technical Sales Representative – Material Characterization

About the role

We are looking for a highly driven Technical Sales Representative to promote Anton Paar’s material characterization instruments across Peru and Bolivia. The role combines technical expertise with commercial agility to expand market presence and achieve sales targets.

Key responsibilities

• Directly sell Anton Paar instruments (rheology, thermal analysis, torque rheometers, tribology, extrusion, texture, etc.) to customers in the assigned territories.
• Act as the primary technical and commercial contact, coordinating with internal departments for timely solutions.
• Maintain a continuously updated project pipeline and ensure it meets established sales targets.
• Generate new opportunities through outbound outreach, inbound lead follow‑up, cold calls, and networking.
• Monitor competitor activities and adapt commercial action plans for target markets.
• Participate in marketing events such as seminars, webinars, conferences, and power weeks.
• Ensure accurate opportunity tracking in the CRM system.

Required profile

• Academic background in Chemistry, Materials Science, Physics, or Chemical Engineering.
• Several years of technical sales experience with analytical or measurement instruments (preferred).
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and mathematical abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally.
• Immediate availability and strong organizational and time‑management skills.
