About the role

ALS is looking for a Técnico Metrólogo to join its global team. The role focuses on adjusting, verifying, and maintaining laboratory and environmental monitoring equipment to ensure compliance with accredited standards and methods.

Key responsibilities

• Adjust and verify laboratory and environmental monitoring equipment to meet normative and accredited method requirements.
• Prepare verification certificates after each intervention, documenting all work details.
• Contribute to the development of maintenance, verification, and calibration plans to enhance equipment reliability.
• Participate in root cause analysis (RCA) and implement actions that reduce equipment failure probability.
• Propose innovative ideas to improve organizational processes.
• Take part in internal ALS audits and external audits (Inacal, Sanipes, client audits, homologation, etc.).
• Provide checklist‑based training for maintenance personnel on equipment use and handling.
• Assist in updating procedures, instructions, and operational diagrams for the area.
• Perform additional support tasks as directed, such as preventive maintenance and equipment enablement.

Required profile

• Technical professional with experience in equipment calibration, verification, and maintenance.
• Familiarity with compliance standards and accredited testing methods.
• Ability to work collaboratively in audit and root‑cause‑analysis activities.
