Trade Marketing Specialist – Direct Trade & Pharmacies

About the role

As a Trade Marketing Specialist you will act as the category expert for Direct Trade and pharmacy channels, creating compelling stories that translate shopper insights into growth opportunities. You will partner with retail partners to develop and execute strategies that drive commercial success for Colgate‑Palmolive’s oral, personal and home care brands.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and supervise retailer event strategies and 5P (Product, Price, Placement, Promotion, POP) plans tailored to each retail environment.
• Lead the go‑to‑market process, providing clear execution guidelines for new innovations and shopper‑focused activities.
• Design shopper solutions based on deep retail, customer and shopper knowledge.
• Collaborate with Customer Development leaders to align objectives, drive strategy results and coordinate shopper studies.
• Perform monthly performance analysis of volume, sales, investment, GTN, market share, distribution and the 5Ps, adjusting strategies as needed.
• Analyze and approve plans per retail environment to ensure alignment with sales, market share, pricing and margin targets.
• Gather market intelligence, identify new opportunities and build proactive action plans.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• 5‑6 years of experience in sales or adjacent roles within Fast‑Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) companies.
• At least 1 year of hands‑on field sales experience.
• Proven budget‑management skills.
