Transcon & Distribution Agent

About the role

Expeditors, a global logistics company headquartered in Seattle and operating over 350 locations, is hiring a Transcon & Distribution Agent in Lima. The role manages end-to-end transportation and distribution operations, coordinates shipments and builds strong relationships with customers, suppliers and carriers.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end transportation and distribution operations, ensuring seamless shipment execution, inventory accuracy and on-time delivery.
• Coordinate shipments, provide proactive communication, track orders and build relationships with customers, suppliers and carriers.
• Drive operational excellence through accurate data management, KPI monitoring, timely reporting and continuous improvement.
• Support billing, transportation rating, inventory control, SOP compliance and customer-specific requirements.
• Uphold company culture and compliance standards, including Operational Process Standards (OPS) and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• 6 months to 1 year of experience in transportation, distribution, warehousing, logistics, customer service or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Intermediate to advanced English, able to communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
• Strong organizational, time management and problem-solving skills, and excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Positive attitude, customer-focused mindset and willingness to learn and support team objectives.
• Understanding of transportation and distribution processes is an advantage.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word and Outlook, and other business systems.
• Commitment to continuous learning and compliance with company training requirements.
