IT Infrastructure & Cloud Engineer

About the role

Huawei Technologies is looking for a senior Engineer to lead the design, implementation, and optimisation of advanced IT infrastructure and cloud solutions for its customers in Lima. The role combines technical leadership with hands‑on delivery, ensuring reliable, scalable services that meet business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute and deliver IT and cloud projects on time and within budget.
• Provide technical guidance and act as the primary post‑implementation contact for customers.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, procedures and operational guidelines.
• Monitor project performance, gather feedback and drive continuous improvement.
• Support troubleshooting, optimisation and operational activities across cloud and infrastructure environments.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in IT infrastructure or cloud engineering projects.
• Degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science or a related field.
• Relevant professional certifications in cloud, virtualization, networking or infrastructure technologies.
• Advanced written and spoken English (bilingual English/Spanish required).
• Strong communication, analytical problem‑solving and adaptability.

• Storage technologies (SAN, NAS) and backup/disaster‑recovery concepts.
• NFVI architecture and scalable network service deployment.
