Principal DevOps Engineer – AI

About the role

We are looking for a Principal DevOps Engineer to own the end‑to‑end infrastructure that powers our next‑generation agentic AI systems. You will operate at the intersection of cloud engineering and AI, provisioning, securing, and scaling AWS environments that run AI pipelines reliably and cost‑efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain infrastructure‑as‑code (Terraform) for AI workloads, including Bedrock agents, Lambda functions, API Gateway, and supporting data services.
• Own deployment, configuration, and scaling of AWS Bedrock AgentCore environments, handling model routing, session management, and memory back‑ends.
• Architect secure, least‑privilege IAM policies for agent runtimes, cross‑account access, and service‑to‑service authentication.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, AWS CodePipeline) for infrastructure changes, Lambda deployments, and agent configuration updates.
• Implement observability using OpenTelemetry, CloudWatch, and X‑Ray; create cost dashboards and alerting for AI pipelines.
• Manage networking topology (VPC design, PrivateLink, security groups, egress controls) to ensure data stays within governed boundaries.
• Develop and operate data infrastructure such as OpenSearch for semantic search and S3 lifecycle policies.
