About the role
We are looking for a detail‑oriented Administrative Assistant to support a family‑law firm remotely. The role involves coordinating daily operations, managing communications, and ensuring organized documentation for attorneys and clients.
Key responsibilities
- Manage attorneys’ calendars, schedule meetings and coordinate appointments.
- Prepare, format and organize legal documents.
- Maintain secure file storage using Dropbox or similar platforms.
- Utilize MyCase (or comparable case‑management tools) for tracking cases and handling administrative tasks.
- Handle email correspondence, follow‑ups and client communications.
- Track deadlines, tasks and ensure timely completion of deliverables.
- Support general office functions such as data entry, record keeping and workflow coordination.
- Uphold strict confidentiality and adhere to legal and ethical standards.
Required profile
- 2+ years of experience as an Administrative Assistant, preferably in a U.S. law firm or professional services setting.
- Strong organizational and time‑management abilities with high attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced, remote environment.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
Required skills
- MyCase or similar case‑management software.
- Dropbox or comparable cloud‑storage solutions.
What we offer
- Fully remote work with a preferred location in Latin America.
- Working hours 9 am‑5 pm EST, aligned with U.S. federal holidays.
- Monthly salary between USD 900 and USD 1 200.
