Associate Director, Functional Service Partnership – Site Contracts

About the role

The Associate Director, Functional Service Partnership (FSP) – Site Contracts is a senior member of the global study team, responsible for overseeing clinical contracting and budgeting across multiple studies. This 100% remote position supports Thermo Fisher Scientific’s mission to improve health outcomes worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute end‑to‑end operational strategies for study contracting and budgeting, ensuring alignment with clinical study protocols and country requirements.
• Maintain master study and country budgets, apply Fair Market Value (FMV) benchmarks, and distribute approved budgets to site management and monitoring teams.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for Clinical Study Agreements (CSAs) and sponsor legal, leading reviews of contracts and budget amendments.
• Ensure an audit‑ready repository of signed CSAs and related documentation, and align cross‑study and portfolio budgets.
• Collaborate with Study Management, Site Management & Monitoring, Legal, Procurement, Finance, and external providers to meet scope, quality, budget, and timeline objectives.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in clinical contracting, budgeting, and study finance management.
• Deep knowledge of ICH GCP, sponsor SOPs, and regulatory requirements.
• Proven ability to lead cross‑functional teams and manage complex, multi‑country studies.
• Strong analytical and audit‑readiness mindset.
