Business Unit Manager – Animal Health (Livestock)

About the role

We are seeking a Business Unit Manager to lead our Livestock Business Unit, driving growth and operational excellence in the Peruvian animal health market. The role combines strategic planning, market development, and cross‑functional leadership to deliver innovative health solutions for animals.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day operations of the livestock business unit, ensuring efficient production and distribution.
• Develop and execute market‑specific strategies to increase sales and market share in Peru.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, finance, and operations teams to align activities with corporate objectives.
• Monitor market trends, adjust business plans, and maintain compliance with industry regulations.
• Lead, mentor, and evaluate the performance of the business unit team.
• Plan, allocate, and control budgets to meet financial targets and optimize costs.
• Identify new business opportunities, partnerships, and channels to expand revenue.
• Build and sustain relationships with suppliers, distributors, customers, and regulators.

Required profile

• Degree in Veterinary Science, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the animal health market, with proven leadership and team‑management experience.
• Demonstrated ability to achieve sales targets and manage business operations.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret market trends and develop strategies.
• Knowledge of industry regulations and standards.
• Fluent in Spanish and English.
