C++ Optimization Engineer (Remote)

About the role

We are looking for a C++ Optimization Engineer to design and fine‑tune high‑performance algorithms for large‑scale autonomous and robotics systems. The role is fully remote and focuses on reducing latency, improving resource utilization, and delivering reliable, mission‑critical software.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement low‑latency, high‑throughput C++ algorithms.
• Profile complex software stacks, identify bottlenecks, and apply architectural optimizations.
• Perform deep system tuning on CPU, memory, and specialized hardware components.
• Optimize path‑finding, graph‑based logic, and solvers for autonomous platforms.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate optimized components into production systems.
• Establish best practices for performance engineering, including automated benchmarking and regression testing.

Required profile

• 4+ years of software engineering experience with a focus on performance optimization or systems programming.
• Strong expertise in C++ development and algorithm design.
• Hands‑on experience with memory management, multithreading, and hardware‑specific performance issues.
• Background in large‑scale autonomous systems or robotics environments.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
