Country Manager – Peru

About the role

EBANX is seeking a Country Manager for Peru to lead its payments business in the market. You will be responsible for driving sustainable growth, profitability and market leadership while ensuring compliance with local regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Own year‑over‑year growth, gross profit and return on assets targets for Peru.
• Develop and execute market entry and expansion strategies aligned with EBANX’s global vision.
• Conduct market assessments, identify new opportunities and expand the commercial pipeline.
• Define competitive positioning and tailor go‑to‑market plans for the local market.
• Partner with Commercial leadership and contribute to C‑level strategic discussions.
• Negotiate and manage strategic partnerships with banks, payment processors and key stakeholders.
• Lead initiatives to reduce processing costs and anticipation fees.
• Improve operational performance, streamline onboarding and accelerate time‑to‑revenue.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally with Product, Operations, Legal, Compliance, Engineering and Finance to deliver scalable, compliant solutions.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading a payments or fintech business in a Latin American market.
• Strong strategic thinking with a track record of delivering growth and profitability.
• Excellent partnership and negotiation skills with banks and payment providers.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally and influence product and engineering roadmaps.
• Deep understanding of local regulatory, tax and compliance environments.
