Freelance US Patent Attorney – AI Training Projects

About the role

We are looking for a US‑qualified patent attorney to join our AI training platform on a freelance, project‑based basis. You will work remotely, applying your legal expertise to help improve and evaluate AI systems that generate legal content.

Key responsibilities

• Design and generate prompts that challenge AI models in patent law contexts.
• Assess AI‑generated answers for correctness, logical consistency, and adherence to legal standards.
• Refine AI reasoning by providing feedback aligned with first‑principles and accepted legal practice.
• Apply structured scoring criteria to evaluate multi‑step problem‑solving performance.

Required profile

• Law degree (JD, LLM, or equivalent) within the US legal system.
• Minimum 2 years of practice as a patent attorney or legal consultant in the United States.
• Strong written English proficiency (C1/C2 level).
• Reliable high‑speed internet connection for remote collaboration.

• Experience with AI prompt creation and evaluation.
