Laravel & React Developer (Remote, Latin America)

About the role

Bluelight Consulting is seeking a seasoned Laravel and React developer to join its fully remote team serving clients across Latin America. You will work on high‑impact projects, building robust back‑end services with Laravel and delivering modern front‑end experiences using React.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Laravel 8+ applications and APIs.
• Implement front‑end features using React (or Vue.js/Livewire) and integrate them via Inertia.js.
• Write automated tests with Pest, PHPUnit, Laravel Dusk, or Playwright.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver client‑focused solutions.
• Participate in code reviews, estimate tasks, and ensure high code quality.

Required profile

• 4+ years of professional experience with Laravel (version 8 or newer).
• Strong knowledge of Eloquent ORM, Laravel authentication, and query builder.
• Hands‑on experience with testing tools such as Pest PHP, PHPUnit, Laravel Dusk, or Playwright.
• Proficiency in building RESTful APIs and using Inertia.js.
• Experience with front‑end development (React, Vue.js, or Laravel Livewire); Tailwind CSS is a plus.
• Ability to take ownership, meet estimates, and align with client goals.
• Detail‑oriented, positive mindset and a can‑do attitude.
